1. Power failure: the power supply/control power supply of the air compressor loses power. At this time, it is necessary to check whether the power supply and control power supply have electricity.
2. Motor temperature is too high: If the motor starts too frequently, the load is too heavy, the motor cooling is not sufficient, the motor itself or the bearings, sensors, etc. At this time, the number of motor starts should be limited, and the load setting pressure should be reduced.
3. Compressor temperature is too high: the temperature of the oil and gas mixture at the outlet of the air compressor reaches 120°C. You need to keep the air compressed and well ventilated, check that the radiator is not covered by debris, the radiator is good for heat dissipation, and check the air compressor oil level, cooling fan, and temperature sensor.
4. The pressure is too high: the compressor will trip when the outlet pressure reaches 15bar. Should check whether the load setting pressure is too high, the pressure sensor, etc., contact the maintenance to check the pressure regulating valve and the relief valve.
5. Motor steering error: The motor wiring is wrong or the star/delta cannot be switched normally when the motor starts, and the steering signal sensor on the compressor body is faulty, causing the air compressor to report the motor steering error. Don’t panic, contact the maintenance to check whether the motor phase sequence wiring is correct.
6. The exhaust volume is reduced: check the air valve, if the air valve leaks, either choose to grind and repair, or replace with a new air valve. There may also be excessive wear of the piston ring, oil scraper ring or cylinder. There is no way to do it, and it can only be replaced in time. If there is no problem, lightly check the air filter to see if there is any blockage or air leakage in the air line. Clean the dust on the filter screen and repair the line.
7. Exhaust temperature or cooling water drainage is too high: There are five possible problems in this regard. If the cylinder is overheated by the roughness of the cylinder, repair the cylinder and piston in time. When it is found that the exhaust valve is leaking or the valve spring or valve plate is damaged, the parts need to be replaced in time. Check whether the cooling water is insufficient, and adjust and increase the flow of the cooling water in time. If the cooling water circuit is blocked, the scale in the cylinder, cylinder head, and cooler will cause blockage. Clear the water ditch and clear the blockage. The intake valve and exhaust valve must also be checked. If carbon formation occurs, it needs to be cleaned in time.
